Mr. William Duncan Barrow, 89, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002 in a local hospital after an extended illness. He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and a retired truck driver with AAA Cooper Transfer with 34 years of service.
He is survived by two sons, Billy Barrow of Brewton and Jimmy Barrow of Freeport, Fla.; two daughters, Ann Brittain of Brewton and Judy Cardwell of Molino, Fla.; four sisters, Ruby O'Farrell, Allie Hart and Vaudean Watson, all of Brewton and Hazel Redinger of Maryland; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Garrett officiating. Burial followed in Zion Hill Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
