Mrs. Alice Aurelia Skipper, 84, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002 in a local hospital. She was a native of Greenville, and a resident of Brewton since 1949. She was a member of Alco Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Skipper and a daughter, Shirley Ann.
She is survived by two sons, William Roger Skipper of Mobile and Robert Irvin Skipper of Atmore; two sisters, Ethelene Wasden and Velma Bradley, both of Greenville; four grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; eight great-grandchildren; a special friend, Hannah Hughes and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Knowles and Rev. Andy Hepburn officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
