Mrs. Mary M. Dean, 93, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002 at a local nursing facility. She was a native of Coffee County and a resident of Atmore for over 60 years. She was a member of the Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church where she was the president of the NBC, member of the senior choir and a Sunday school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Dean; her son, John Toliver and her sister, Katherine Howard.
She is survived by three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 23, at 1 p.m. at Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Atmore. Burial followed at Lucious Cemetery in Atmore with Turner Funeral Home directing.
