Mrs. Mary Modice Sewell Cooley Bloodworth, 81, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004. She was a native of Jay, Fla. and a long-time resident of Pensacola. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Bloodworth.
She is survived by her children, Mary Solkey of Havelock, N.C., Shirley Simmons and Charles Cooley, both of Brewton, Ronnie Cooley of Pensacola and Bobby Crouse, who was like a son; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 28 at 2 p.m. at Crane Cemetery in Milton, Fla. with Bayview-Fisher-Pou Chapel directing. Pallbearers were Gregory Casey Sr., Gregory Casey Jr., Christopher Casey, William Owens, Jimmy Owens and Randy Simmons.
