The Brewton Little League is sponsoring a Training and Development League for all potential players in next year's baseball season.
The purpose of the program is to work on all fundamentals and skills and have as much fun as possible. Sessions will be comprised of one-half skill work and one-half games.
The Brewton Little League sponsors the program, which includes insurance, at no cost to participants.
The program is not mandatory, but players are invited to come as often as they like.
In order to participate in the program, players must attend the Brewton City School System. They must have played in the Brewton Little League program last season. Players must be nine years old by August 1, 2005 and plan to play in Brewton Little League next spring. Players can not be older than 12 years old by August 1.
The first program's session will be Saturday at the Brewton YMCA Sports Park from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Following sessions will be held on each Saturday until November 13.
