Mr. Robert Matthew Little, 83, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at a facility in Bay Minette. He was a native of Butler County and a resident of Brewton since 1948. He was a member of Second St. John Baptist Church and a member of Invisible Lodge 200 in Brewton. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard P. Little and his wife of 51 years, Catherine C. Little.
He is survived by four children, Ora Lee Jackson of Brewton, Donald Edward Little and James Randolph Little, both of Mobile, and Sharon Elizabeth Taylor of DeSoto, Texas; a brother, James H. Little of Lorain, Ohio; an adopted daughter, Grace Perkins of Birmingham; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m. at Second St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. W.T. Dailey officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
