Mrs. Annie Spears, 65, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004. She was a native and life-long resident of Brewton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ganie Spears and her parents, Jimmy and Annie Stanley. She was an active member of Second Saint Siloam Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Vickie Smith and Tiffany Smith, both of Brewton; six sons, Tony Stanley, Bruce Spears and Ganie Spears, all of Brewton, Clinton Spears and Ricky Spears, both of Pensacola, Fla., and Gregory Spears of Birmingham; one sister, Juanita Culliver of Brewton; one brother, Jim Stanley of Indiana; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m. at Second Saint Siloam Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie J. Blue officiating. Burial followed at Piney Grove Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
