Mr. David McKee, 50, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005. He was a native of Brewton and was preceded in death by a brother, Johnnie McKee and a sister, Mabel Davis McKee.
He is survived by two daughters, Michelle McKee (Jayson) Smith and Sandra McKee (Ronald) McCormick, both of Akron, Ohio; a son, Desmond Dixon of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister, Vanessa Deere of Montgomery; five brothers, Jake McKee Jr., Joseph McKee, James McKee and Leon McGee, all of Rochester, N.Y. and Howard McKee of Brewton, eight grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 10, at 2 p.m. at Presley-Fluker Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jo Meeks officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
