County officials this week announced they have a promise from FEMA that the agency will assist landowners with Hurricane Ivan-related storm debris removal on private property and private roads.
This new ruling differs from previous opinions when the agency said it could not do work on private property.
If you are a property owner who needs help, or you know someone who is, it is important that you call immediately and get on the list to be helped.
