Don't miss chance to be heard Tuesday
Over the past few weeks, many people have taken the opportunity to speak out on these pages in favor of a proposed City of Brewton ordinance that would ban smoking in public establishments including work sites, public facilities and restaurants.
At 5 p.m. this Tuesday, March 15, at City Hall, those for and against the proposed ordinance will have the opportunity to express their opinions and influence the City Council's decision on this proposed ordinance.
Freedom of speech is among the liberties afforded Americans that many people of the world are not afforded. This is a great opportunity to exercise that freedom and affect the outcome of an important decision.
