Constant evaluation part of excellence
The City of Brewton's participation in the Alabama Community of Excellence program requires continued reevaluation of local strengths, weaknesses, opportunitities and threats and requires planning to overcome shortfalls, as evidenced in a public hearing this week.
It's a program that doesn't let communities rest on their laurels, but requires diligence to maintain the standards while striving for continued improvement.
This is an important step for making sure we as a community don't become stagnant, but constantly work to move forward.
We salute those comm unity, business, and civic leaders who have given of their time and efforts in providing the evaluation and plan to keep us on track.
