(B) Cubs 12, (EB) Athletics 7
B Cubs- Rob Stokes had a single, a homer and scored three runs. Aaron Yuhasz had three singles and scored three runs. Caleb Hubbard had two singles, a triple and scored two runs. Josh Maloy had two singles. Landen Huff scored two runs.
Stokes was the winning pitcher, as he had a hitless inning of work and struck out one.
EB Athletics- Cam Blackman, Shawn Lucas and Trace Thomas all had a single. Trae Thomas and Tyler Joyner both had two singles and scored two runs.
Joyner was the losing pitcher.
(B) Braves 19, (EB) Cubs 3
Braves got a combined no-hitter from Wesley Maddox, Ryan Hunt and Alec Robinson.
B Braves- Ryan Hunt had a single and scored four runs. Alec Robinson scored three runs. William Whittle had two singles. Wesley Maddox had two singles and scored three runs. Darby Black, Lowell Swain and Trey Salter both had a single and scored two runs. Mooney Nalty had a single.
Maddox got the win, as he struck out the side in his only inning of work. Hunt also struck out the side in one inning of work, while Robinson fanned two during his inning.
EB Cubs- Quantae Barksdale, Patrick Glass and Brian Settles all scored a run.
Barksdale was the losing pitcher.
EAST BREWTON
Age 9-10
Braves 11, Cubs 7
Braves- Dalton Evans had two hits and scored two runs. Jack Crutchfield and Michael Williams both had a hit. Dylan Godwin and Keaton Ward both had two walks and scored two runs.
Evans was the winning pitcher, as he threw a three-hitter and struck out 10.
Cubs- Quantae Barksdale and Brian Settle both had a hit and scored two runs. Jacob Southwell had a hit.
Barksdale was the losing pitcher, as he struck out one and allowed three hits. Settle struck out 10 and allowed just one hit, but got a no decision.
