Mr. Jerry Wayne Boutwell, 51, died Thursday, June 23, 2005, in Flomaton. He was a native of Atmore and a resident of Flomaton for the past 15 years. He attended the Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Mary Boutwell; a son, Jeremy DeLane Boutwell; a brother, Donald Wayne Boutwell, and a sister, Mary Ellen Roberson.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Christelle Boutwell of Flomaton; three sons, Randell Wayne Boutwell, Marcus Joseph Boutwell and Terrell Wade Boutwell, all of Atmore; his daughter, Sandra Darlene Earl of Atmore; three stepsons, Tommy Sheets ofBratt, Fla., William Daniel Sheets and Everette Sheets, both of Atmore; his stepdaughter, Angela Jeanette Sheets of Bratt; four brothers, Cleveland Jefferson Boutwell, Wilburn Cecil Boutwell of Portland, Ore., Ed Rufus Boutwell of Pemberton, N.J., and Chester Eugene Boutwell of Nokomis; five sisters, Nancy Lee Barbarow of Perdido, Lucille Wright of Evergreen, Daisy Mae Colvin of Flomaton, Shirley Barbee of Mobile and Elizabeth Christine Long of Flomaton, and 20 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 25, at 2 p.m. at the Eastsde Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Malcolm Harrelson officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery with Eastside Chapel of Atmore directing. Pallbearers were Donald Wright, Michael Harrelson, Leslie Barnes, Bobby Waller, William Sheets and Roy Moseley. Honorary pallbearers were Grover Barnes, Benjamin Boutwell and Sherman Barnes.
