Mrs. Hilda Blackman Williamson, 63, of Brewton died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005. She was a former resident of Brownsdale, Fla., and a resident of Brewton for 43 years. She was a homemaker, a teacher and a member of East Brewton First Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Stephen and Wavie Windham Blackman; her stepfather, Floyd Salter and a brother, Talmadge Blackman.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Williamson of East Brewton; a son, Eric (Leslie) Williamson of Brewton; a daughter, Vickie (Eric) Jackson of Fort Deposit; a sister, Dean (Jerry) McGee of Jay, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Rachel and Spencer Jackson and Drew and Caroline Williamson.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 20, at 10 a.m. at Jay Funeral Home with Eric Jackson officiating. Burial followed at Cora Cemetery with Jay Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Ken, Stan and Greg Blackman, Carson Douglas, Danny Joyner and Keith McGee.
