Mrs. Audrey Greer Hoomes, 90, of East Brewton, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, at a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Pike County and a long time resident of Escambia County. She was retired from Judy Bond Fashions and a member of East Brewton Methodist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Harlace (Ingrid) Hoomes of Crestview, Fla., Howard (Doris) Hoomes of Brewton, Charles (Janet) Hoomes of East Brewton and Dennis (Karen) Hoomes of Lenoir City, Tenn.; a daughter, Shirley (Frank) Beasley of East Brewton; a brother, Francis Greer of Sebring, Fla.; a sister, Edith Rae Warren of Mobile; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 11 a.m. at East Brewton Methodist Church with Dr. John Dickinson, Dr. Jim White and the Rev. Doug Greer officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
