Matt Fraser, a student from the University of Mobile Ministerial Association, was among several students who preached from the pulpits of 38 churches on “M-Days” during the month February.
Each participating church designates one Sunday each semester as an M-Day and opens its pulpit to a student preacher.
The Conecuh and Washington Associations in Alabama worked with UM to match churches participating in M-Day with UM students who plan to become pastors.
M-Day is offered once a semester to Christian studies majors as an opportunity for growth in ministry.
Students who participated in M-Day include Bob Adams of Albany, Ga., Travis Agee of Mobile, Ala.; Mat Alexander of Boaz, Ala.; Wesley Bates of Grand Bay, Ala.; Kevin Doan of Mobile; Matt Fraser of Brewton, Ala.; Kenneth Harrison of Mount Vernon, Ala.; T.J.
