Mrs. Merle Dean Dennis Caldwell, 78, died Friday, March 24, 2006, at a local hospital. She was a native of Pensacola, Fla., and lived there during her young adult life. She was a member of the Flomaton community for the past 23 years and was a resident of the Century Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie L. Caldwell of Wills Point, Texas; her parents, Lonnie F. and Myrtle N. McDonald Dennis and her brother, Risden F. Dennis.
She is survived by two sisters, Yvonne (Joe) Bell of Flomaton and Bobbie Sims of Birmingham; and several nieces and nephews. Flomaton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
