I have had such good response to my running photographs that I want to continue.
I received a letter from Anna Marie Allen who lives in Brentwood, Tenn., and she sent me a very good photo of the T.R. Miller Class of 1938 standing in front of the old school down on Belleville Avenue. She could not identify the people in the photo except her father-in-law, David O. Allen Sr., who is in the top row, second from the left.
Can you name any of the people? If you can, send the information to me at P.O. Box 887 or email me at lydia.grimes@brewtonstandard.com. It would be very interesting to see how many can be identified.
The other photograph is of Brewton City Hall and the Brewton Fire Department when it was located downtown where the parking lot of the Mildred Street Park is now located. I have one other photo that shows the city hall during the 1929 flood.
