A Flomaton man was killed Tuesday when his car drove off an embankment on Tippins Eddy Road.
Carl Christopher Lee, 48, was killed when his 1998 Chevrolet Malibu drove off the road about 3 miles north of Brewton around 11:30 a.m., according to Alabama State Troopers.
Several law enforcement and emergency agencies responded, blocking traffic on the two-lane bridge during mid-day.
The accident appeared to have thrown Lee from the vehicle.
No other vehicles or passengers were involved in the accident.
