TRM, WSN volleyball set 2006 rosters, schedules
The experience the T.R. Miller Lady Tigers volleyball team had last season will be replaced by youth and inexperience next season.
Coach Sharon Peacock's tentative roster consists of just one senior, Shandreka Foster, and four juniors, Leslie Nalty, Rachel Bostic, Michal Hubbard and Brittany Watson. Nalty saw significant playing time as last season progressed, while Hubbard and Bostic played predominantly at the junior varsity level. This will be Watson's first season of volleyball.
The sophomore class consists of Morgan Hubbard, Brandi Kennedy, Alex Bondurant and Jessica Freeman. Freshmen include Chelsea Madden, Janel McCorvey, Nakiya Smith, Sara Lee, Mallory Mullis, Katie Edge, Emily Sherrer and Catherine Pendergrass.
Peacock has also announced her team's tentative schedule for next season.
The Lady Tigers are scheduled to begin play Aug. 24 with a home match against Monroe County. T.R. Miller is slated to play in two tournaments, the Andalusia Tournament on Sept. 9 and the Escambia County Tournament at Flomaton on Oct. 7.
