Mr. Cecil Lavon Huff, 72, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at his son's Brewton residence. He was a resident of Escambia County for most of his life. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served with the U.S. Army. He worked as a logging contractor and was a member of North Brewton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary J. &#8220Jackie” Huff.
He is survived by two sons, Scott Huff and Randall Huff, both of Brewton; one daughter, Donna Harris of Brewton; two brothers, Gary Huff of Brewton and Donald Huff of Birmingham; one sister, Ann Bryant of Brewton and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 15, at 10 a.m. at North Brewton Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael King officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
