Brewton City Schools will offer training for people interested in substitute teaching at any of the schools in the city school system. The training will be at the T.R. Miller High School auditorium on Wednesday, August 23 from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. While this training is focusing on the beginning substitute teacher, experienced substitutes are welcome and will receive knowledge from the training. To find out how to become a substitute teacher, contact Mrs. Kim Morris at Brewton City Board of Education (251-867-8400) for information. For those people who are unsure about substitute teaching but want more information, you are encouraged to attend the substitute teacher training to gain further knowledge.
