Mrs. Ruby Dell Hines, 73, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at a local hospital. She was a native of Monroe County and had been a resident of Brewton since 1986. She was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church in East Brewton. She retired from Judy Bond Clothing Manufacturer after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. William &#8220Bill” Hines Sr.; her parents, Wayne and Clara Nettles; her brother, T.B. Nettles and her sister, Georgia Mae Wiggins.
She is survived by her sons, William (Mary) Hines Jr. of Atlanta, Ga., Duane (Melanie) Hines and Kenan &#8220Chip” (Cheryl) Hines of Brewton and Keith (Sonja) Hines of Andalusia; her daughters, Kathryn (Danny) Day of Hanceville and Chrystal Hines Hillman of East Brewton; a brother, Jack Nettles of Mexia; a sister, Neushwander of Loxley; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 30, at 10 a.m. at Mexia Cemetery in Mexia with the Rev. Wayne McMillan officiating and Monroe Chapel directing.
