No BMS-Jay boys, girls hoops contest Monday
Brewton Middle School's boys and girls home basketball games against Jay, Fla. Monday were cancelled.
Play was set to begin at 4:30 p.m., but the Jay teams had not arrived. BMS administrators waited until 5 p.m. with no word from Jay officials before they cancelled the games.
The games will not be rescheduled.
T.R Miller baseball sets
tentative 2007 slate
T.R. Miller High School has announced its tentative 2007 baseball schedule.
The Tigers will kick off play Mar. 1 with a 6 p.m. home date against Flomaton. A junior varsity game between those teams at 4 p.m. will precede the varsity action.
T.R. Miller has five doubleheaders scheduled plus two additional split team doubleheaders. Three of those twinbills are against Class 4A Area foes Hillcrest-Evergreen, Andalusia and W.S. Neal.
