E. Brewton Baseball sets organizational meeting
East Brewton Youth Baseball League will have an organizational meeting today at 2 p.m. at the East Brewton City Hall courtroom.
All individuals who are interested in coaching this season are strongly urged to attend.

dates for registration
Sign-ups for East Brewton Youth League Baseball will be Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the East Brewton City Hall courtroom.
Players age 5-12 are eligible to play. Sign-up cost is $25. Families with more than one player will receive a $5 discount for each additional child.

Brewton Little League sets registration dates
Brewton Little League will hold registration for the 2007 season Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the T.R. Miller Fieldhouse.
Players must bring birth certificates to verify age. All players must be age nine before May 1 and not turn age 13 before May 1, 2007 in order to be eligible. Players will be fitted for shirts and pants.
Tryouts will be Feb. 24 at the Brewton YMCA Sports Park for the age 9-10 division and Mar. 3 for the age 11-12 division. Both sessions will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Persons interested in coaching a team or assisting in coaching a team must fill out a Little League Volunteer Application form and present the application with a copy of their driver's license or some form of identification with a photo. The Brewton Little League Board will approve coaches based upon qualifications.
