TRM's Jackson named
to All-State Second Team
T.R. Miller Tigers senior Wade jackson has been selected to the Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 4A All-State Second Team.
The 6-5 Jackson led the Tigers this past season with a 14.5 points per game average. He was selected the Most Valuable Player at the Escambia County Tournament, the Area Tournament and the Regional Tournament. He also became the first T.R. Justin Knox of Central-Tuscaloosa was named the Class 4A Player of the Year.
The rest of the First Team consisted of Andalusia's Nico Johnson, Josh Bedwell of Priceville, Ryan Cross of Madison County and Matt Caughman of Douglas.
Jackson was joined on the Second Team by Escambia County's Frank Taylor, Courtney Mack of Bullock County, Terence Nance of Madison County and Seth Selvege of DAR.
