Mr. Tearl Ray McDaniel, 26, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, in an automobile accident in Braggs, Ala. He was a 1998 graduate of Hillcrest.
He is survived by his wife, Tiffany McDaniel, a daughter, Yasmine Tearia S'mone McDaniel; his parents, Debra Jackson and James (Sarah) Banks; a stepfather, Eddie C. Jackson; four sisters, Tracey (Jeffery) Walker Sr. of Brewton, Lisa (Danny) Anderson and Annie Banks, both of Greenville, and Kelly Gilford of Wilcox; six brothers, Michael (Shelia) McDaniel and Johnny (Andrea) McDaniel, both of North Fork, Va., Kelvin McDaniel of Mixonville, and James Ray Banks Jr., Charles Banks and Theodore Banks, all of Greenville; grandparents, Annie Pressley of Mixonville and Essie and Dorothy Jackson of Owassa; his mother and father-in-law, Patricia and L.C. Ruth; one sister-in-law, Jennifer Cresham; a brother-in-law, Jeffery Green and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 22, at 1 p.m. at Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Luzell Stallworth officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home officiating.
