Mr. Jerry Fillmore, 65, of Clements Street, died Friday, June 8, 2007, at his residence. He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, U.S. Army veteran, Masonic Norris Lodge 301, Eastern Star Chapter 442, and retired from the construction industry.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Wells Fillmore of East Brewton; a son, Basil (Edwina) Fillmore of Brewton; a daughter, Rebecca Fillmore (Robert) Borsky of New Port Richey, Fla.; two brothers, J.E. Fillmore of Brewton, and Robert Fillmore of Atmore; three sisters, Luverne Morton of Barnetts Crossroads, and Luvenia Hayles and Jane Davis, both of Atmore; and four grandchildren, Wesley Fillmore, Jacob Fillmore, Riley Borsky and Reese Borsky.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 11, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Henderson officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
