Mr. Marion Huston &#8220Bud” Graves, 79, died Sunday, June 10, 2007, in a local nursing facility. He was a native of Brewton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in World War II. He returned to the Brewton area 34 years ago, coming from New Mexico. He was preceded in death by a son, William Ray Graves.
He is survived by his wife, Sara C. Graves of Brewton; a son, Vernon H. Graves of Brewton; a daughter, Audrey A. Shoulders of Las Cruces, N.M.; a sister, Connie Sheffield of Brewton; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 12, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Keese and the Rev. Wilbur Graves officiating. Burial followed at Beulah Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
