Mr. Almon Tommy Smith, 52, of Ivey Lane in Castleberry, died Sunday, June 10, 2007, at his residence. He was a native and long-time resident of Brewton, was of the Holiness faith and a truck driver.
He is survived by a son, Tim (Heather Crutchfield) Smith of Brewton; a daughter, Jennifer (Joshua, Sr.) Gresham of Brewton; three brothers, Ronald (Phyllis) Smith and Wayne Smith, both of Castleberry, and Danny (Teri) Smith of Brewton; five sisters, Faye (Paul) LoKey, Bobbie (Roy) Kelley, and Linda (Jimmy) Lynn, all of Brewton, Sue (Ed) Reid of Excel and Brenda (Rob) Dangerfield of Kentucky; and two grandchildren, Jessica Gresham and Joshua Gresham Jr.
Funeral services were held June 14, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. David Kelley and the Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial followed in Glory Hill Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
