Mrs. Sarah Morgan “Sallie” Jordan, 87, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2007. She was a native of Brewton and resident of Satsuma. She was a homemaker and a member of Saraland Baptist Church where she was a member of the Seniors Group. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Rollon L. Jordan; her parents, Sherman Green Morgan and Hattie Blair Morgan; one grandson; one great-grandson and nine siblings.
She is survived by her children, Gloria (Maxwell) Lawson of Satsuma, Roland Julius (Phyllis) Jordan of Daphne, and Larry (Mary) Jordan of Theodore; a sister, Sadie Morgan (Bill) Blair of Castleberry; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a very special friend, Ola Mae Emmons of Mobile; and many other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held at the chapel of Radney Funeral Home Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 1 p.m. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Radney Funeral Home directing.
