Mr. Jesse “Twit” Adams, 68, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at a Santa Rosa hospital. He was a native of Byrneville, Fla., a resident of McDavid since 1972 and attended the Grace Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Doris Adams of McDavid; two sons, Timothy Edward (Susan) Adams of Flomaton and Thomas (Nancy) Adams of Century, Fla.; a daughter, Dianne (Phillip) Muse of East Brewton; two grandchildren, Austin Adams and Cody Adams; three step-grandchildren, John Salyer, Michael Salyer and Jake Hadley; two step-great-grandchildren, Blaine Hadley and Tyler Hadley; three sisters, Willie Brothers of Christian Home, Fla., Vera Mae Rice of Flomaton, and Juanita Mock of Pensacola, Fla.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. William Chancery and the Rev. Willie Oglesbee directing. Burial followed at Christian Home Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
