Joseph Charles “Joey” Majors

Mr. Joseph Charles “Joey” Majors, 32, died early Saturday morning November 10, 2007, in Crestview, Fla., of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a native and long time resident of Pensacola, before moving to Brewton in 1991. He was Co-owner of Majors Flooring and was a 1993 graduate of Jefferson Davis Community College. He was of the Church of Christ faith. He played baseball in the 1988 World Series for Brent Ball Park in Pensacola.
He is survived by his parents, Johnnie and Betty Majors of Wing; three sons, Trysten Tyler Majors of East Brewton, Jacob Kyle Majors of Pensacola, and Christopher Dalton Majors of Crestview; two brothers, Jimmy (Nikki) Majors of Milton, Fla., and John Majors of Wing; two sisters, Dianna Snyder of Pensacola, and Jessie Majors of Wing; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 1 p.m. at Union Hill Church of Christ with Minister Jared Knolls and the Rev. Matthew Cotton officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery in Bradley, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
