Mrs. Lula Ame Blackwell, 67, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, in a Montgomery hospital. She was a native of Poland, Ga. and a resident of Castleberry, before moving to Montgomery three years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. L.T. Blackwell and a daughter, Charlotte Maxine Blackwell.
She is survived by a son, L.T. Blackwell of East Brewton; a daughter, Louise Faulkner of Brewton, three brothers, three sisters, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home. Burial followed in Buffington Cemetery in Castleberry.
