WSN Eagles split

For those in attendance at W.S. Neal's game in Frisco City that remembered the Eagles and Whippets' first matchup of the season in East Brewton, anything except overtime would have been welcomed.
W.S. Neal and Frisco City played a five-overtime game in its first game of the season in East Brewton as the Eagles lost.
Well, it could have been looking like de ja' vu all over again as the Whippets and the Eagles were tied 36-all at the end of regulation.
This time, the game only went one overtime as W.S. Neal improved to 2-4 on the season with a 42-41 win.
After opening the game with 17-3 first quarter lead, W.S. Neal held a 25-16 lead at the half.
The Eagles continued to hold onto their lead as they had a 33-24 lead at the end of the third quarter.
The Eagles were outscored 11-3 in the fourth quarter, but as the score by quarters shows still held a one-point lead at the end of regulation, but a scoring error had that Frisco City had tied the game 36-36 and headed into overtime.
W.S. Neal outscored Frisco City 6-5 in the overtime period to win 42-41.
In a game against Flomaton, W.S. Neal was outscored 19-8 in the third quarter as the Eagles fell 48-31.
W.S. Neal will be back in action Monday when they take on Excel at home.
