Mrs. Maurine Bracken Waller, 72, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at a Pensacola hospital. She was a native of Brewton and a resident of Pensacola. She taught piano for 20 years and was the organist at Scenic Heights Baptist Church where she was a member for many years. She was a member of Scenic Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Myron Bracken and Helen Hill Bracken.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Waller of Pensacola; a son Cal Waller of Pensacola; two daughters, Pam (Thorne) Venus of Pensacola, and Donna Hipp of Orlando; two grandchildren, Michael Venus and Natalie Venus; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m. at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Park in Brewton at 2 p.m. with Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel directing.
