JDCC basketball drops two games

The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk basketball team drops two games last week to fall to 7-18 overall and 4-10 in conference play.
JDCC lost to Southern Union 96-60 and fell to Enterprise Ozark 90-70. JDCC was scheduled to play Faulkner Saturday at home in their last home game and will close out their regular season Thursday against LBW.
JDCC 60, Southern Union 96
Donald Smith led the Warhawks with 26 points and seven rebounds but it was not enough as JDCC fell to Southern Union 96-60.
The Warhawks were outscored 50-28 in the firs half and 46-32 in the second en route to the 36-point defeat.
Justin Owens finished with double figures for the Warhawks with 10 points.
JDCC 70, Enterprise 90
Despite a 24-point game from Smith and 14 rebounds and 18 points from DuPont, the JDCC Warhawks dropped a 20-point decision to Enterprise.
JDCC was outscored by 17 at 40-23 in the first and 50-47 in the second in the loss.
