They promised a house in one week, and Brewton Habitat for Humanity members did not disappoint last week, moving swiftly from raising the walls on Saturday to dedicating a new home the following Saturday. Over the seven days in between, more than 350 volunteers - including local students from W.S. Neal High School - pitched in to roof, paint and landscape the East Brewton house that is now home to Larry and Jennifer Woods and their children. “This house was built with love,” the Rev. Danny Benjamin said at Saturday's dedication ceremony, summing up the feelings of those involved with the project.
