Another classic between Eagles and Tigers

They have a lot of heart. That is how I heard the W.S. Neal Eagle baseball team described on Friday afternoon amidst celebration after the Eagles defeated rival T.R. Miller. Winning by a score of 4-2, the team won the class 4A area two championship to advance to the first round of the state playoffs.
Who would have guessed it? Honestly, not me.
When the season began to roll around back on Feb. 18, I had heard that W.S. Neal had to bring up some eighth graders to play on the team.
I had not seen them, T.R. Miller or Andalusia play a game yet, but after hearing that about the eighth graders, I figured they did not have a chance at competing for the area.
