The Brewton Fire Department will be conducting tests on fire hydrants throughout the city for the next several weeks.
The testing will begin June 16 in the Pea Ridge and Alco area, Weaver said. Testing will proceed northward throughout Brewton and is expected to be completed within three to four weeks, Weaver said.
Residents who have concerns or problems with water pressure, discoloration or other issues during the testing period, should contact officials at the Brewton Fire Department by calling 867-7165.
