Kenny Hultz and Nora Whatley are facing off for East Brewton City Council Place 2.
Hultz currently serves as Place 2 council member.
East Brewton's most important issues, Hultz said, include “economic factors such as balancing revenue against increase cost in fuel, cost of upgrading equipment in all departments and increase in cost of services provided to citizens,” Hultz said.
Hultz said he would bring experience to the table as a city council member.
Hultz said he hopes to continue building the quality of life in East Brewton.
Hultz, 51, is a graduate of W.S. Neal High School. He is self-employed at Superior Sales and Service in Flomaton. He is married to Teresa Dawkins Hultz and they have three daughters, Misty Hultz, Meghann Ford and Cate Hultz. He is a member of May Creek Methodist Church.
Whatley said East Brewton needs to tackle all of its problems.
Whatley is 55 years old and a 1971 graduate of W.S. Neal High School. She has a son, Nathan Whatley; a daughter, Lisa Whatley; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Whatley.
