Corey Maxwell has been named Operations Manager of The Securance Group's Birmingham office. During the past 16 years, Maxwell owned and operated Maxwell Financial Group, a financial services firm and the Maxwell Agency of Allstate in the Birmingham area. His duties include new business growth, the hiring and training of new staff and agency acquisition.
Among the honors he has received, Maxwell was named Allstate Rookie Agent of the Year in 2006 and the Young Agents' Committee Chairman - AIIA in 2004; the 2005 Leadership Class of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, member of the Marketing Committee of The Bell Center and Partner-in-Training and Mercedes Half-Marathon finisher.
Maxwell is a native of Brewton, AL and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Auburn University in 1995.
His community involvement includes being a Council Member of the Canterbury United Methodist church, Rotary, and membership in the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce. His wife, Hilary, teaches at Engel Day Treatment Center and they enjoy their two daughters Emma 5, and Clara, 2.
