Brewton
Mrs. Bessie Mae Pearson, 80, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 at her Brewton residence.
She was a native of Evergreen and had lived in the Brewton area for the past 11 years, coming from Castleberry. She was a member of Glory Hill Holiness Church.
She is survived by a son, John (Janice) Silva of Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, A.J. Ard of Brewton and Alton Ard of Houston, Texas; a sister, Louise Brazwell of Brewton; a granddaughter, Tina Silva of Ft. Myers, Fla.; a great-grandson and and two nephews.
Funeral services were held Jan. 8, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. J.J. West officiating. Burial followed at Glory Hill Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
