Two members of The Securance Group Inc. have been recognized recently as they completed programs.
Terece Shehan has successfully completed the CIC (Commercial Property Institute) held in Birmingham on May 22.
The Certified Insurance Counselor course attended was one of the five parts offered by Alabama Independent Insurance Agents of Birmingham. After the successful completion of all five courses covering all major areas of the insurance field and five comprehensive examinations, Shehan will be awarded the CIC designation by The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, the nation’s foremost provider of professional insurance and education.
Shehan has been with the company for 26 years. She has been a personalized customer representative; a commercial line manager; an office manager; and vice president in 2008.
She is married to Tommy Shehan, and they have two sons, Tyler and Tanner, who are both  students at the University of Alabama.
Vicki B. Hunt of The Securance Group Inc. has successfully completed the William T. Hold Certified Insurance Agents of Alabama. After the successful completion of all five courses covering all major areas of the insurance field and five comprehensive examinations. Hunt has been awarded the CISR designation by The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.
Hunt has been a part of the group since 2000 and in commercial insurance since 2005.
