Fall baseball league planned for Brewton
The Brewton Little League is taking signups for its Fall Baseball League, which will begin September 1 at the YMCA Sports Park. Cost for the league is $15.  So, if a player will be in the 9-10 age division or the 11-12 age division next season, he is invited to be part of the Fall League.

Bow hunt to take place at YMCA
On Saturday, Aug 29, the Brewton\Escambia Bow hunters will be holding a 3-D archery shoot at the Brewton Area YMCA. It will be 15 targets with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
On Saturday, Sept. 12, the Brewton\Escambia Bow hunters will be holding the annual pre-bow season bow hunter shoot with 15 targets and casual start from 9 a.m. until noon. You can join as a member of Brewton/ Escambia Bow hunters and shoot these shoots free.

Walter Lewis golf tourney to play
The 6th annual Walter Lewis scholarship golf tournament will be held Thursday, Sept. 17 at the Country Club of Brewton.
The tournament will be a four-man scramble with $75 per player of $300 per team. This includes green fee, cart and lunch. A shotgun start will begin at 1 p.m. with registration beginning at 11 a.m.
