WSNMS volleyball falls to McCall

Pollard-McCall defeated W.S. Neal Middle School’s team Tuesday in Pollard to drop W.S. Neal to 2-2 this season.
We played two matches, each was the best 2-out-of-3,” W.S. Neal head coach Stephanie Troy said. “McCall took the first two games by scores of 25-2 and 25-22. Then we came back in the second match and took both games with the scores of 25-22. The fifth game was to 15 points as the tie-breaker and McCall took that game 15-13.”
Kendal Clayton had 14 total service points, Ashlyn Lambeth had seven, and Marissa White also had seven in the loss for the Lady Eagles.
Bailey Stone had three kills and Marissa White had two.
The Lady Eagles began to pick up in the second match, but lost momentum in the last few points of the tie-breaker.”
W.S. Neal Middle School will take on Flomaton at home at 4 p.m. and will be followed by junior varsity and varsity action at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
