East Brewton LL teams get wins

In recent East Brewton Little League play, the Dodgers and Red Sox picked up wins while the Brewton Marlins defeated the East Brewton Braves in interleague play.
The Brewton Marlins defeated the East Brewton Braves 13-12 while the Dodgers took care of business with Flomaton Grey as they won 17-5.
The Red Sox defeated the Braves 7-3 and the Flomaton Braves defeated the Cardinals 4-1.
Brewton Marlins 13,
EB Braves 12
Todd Watson and Matt Smith combined for a three-hitter against the Braves as the Marlins won 13-12.
Watson allowed six run on no hits, walked seven and struck out one in the win while Smith allowed six runs on three hits, walked five and struck out four.
Cameron Pope was 2-for-3 and Andrew Etheridge was 2-for-2 for the Marlins while Demonta Jenkins was 1-for-2.
For the Braves, Jennings Hobbs, Christian Nelson and Guy Smith all pitched in the loss.
Tyler Williams, Weston Riddle, and Hobbs were 1-for-2.
Dodgers 17,
Flomaton Grey 5
Dodgers pitchers Tucker Davenport and Tyreke Williams held Flomaton to one hit and five runs while the Dodgers pounded out 17 runs to get the win.
Davenport allowed two runs, walked three and struck out five in the win while Williamson allowed three runs, one hit, walked three and struck out two.
Jacolby Hawthorne was 1-for-2 for the Dodgers while Brandon Moye was 1-for-2 with a double. Davenport was 1-for-1 with a double.
Red Sox 7, Braves 3
The Red Sox claimed a 7-3 win over the Braves Thursday night.
Patrick Lovelace was 1-for-3 with a double and Matt Hutchins was 1-for-3. Scott Carpenter was 1-for-2 and Kristian Taylor was 1-for-1.
Carpenter and Bosarge combined for the win on the mound.
Carpenter allowed three runs on two hits, walked seven and struck out three.
Bosarge allowed no runs, one hit, walked one and struck out three.
For the Braves, Tyler Williams was 2-for-3 and Weston Riddle was 1-for-2.
Williams and Riddle pitched for the Braves with Riddle allowing seven runs on four hits, walked three and struck out four.
Williams allowed no runs and no hits, walked one and struck out three.
Flomaton Braves 4, Cardinals 1
Despite having one hit, the Braves defeated the Cardinals 4-1.
For the Cardinals, Lane Chavers, Marcus Simmons, and Derek Barton were all 1-for-3 with Logan Fore going 2-for-3.
TyShawn Davis and Chavers pitched in the loss.
Davis allowed four runs on one hit, walked six and struck out one. Chavers struck out two.
