Only three days into the Alabama Appliance Rebate program, half of the allotted funds for rebates have been reserved.
Alabama residents who replace an existing appliance with a new ENERGY STAR qualified appliance purchased after April 19 are eligible to apply for the Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate.
Consumers who have their applications approved will receive the rebate in the form of a Visa prepaid card.
Officials with the program have said once allotted funds are exhausted, the program will end.
