EB Braves, Red Sox, and Yankees get wins

In recent East Brewton Little League, the Braves, Red Sox and Yankees earned wins to improve their records.
The Braves defeated Flomaton Grey 16-9 while the Red Sox took down Flomaton Green 8-4.
The Yankees defeated the Cardinals 4-0. In interleague play, Flomaton White defeated the Brewton Braves 9-5.
Braves 15, Flomaton Grey 9
Three Braves pitchers combined for a two-hitter against Flomaton Thursday to help give their team a 15-9 win.
The trio of Weston Riddle, Guy Smith, and Tyler Williams combined for eight strikeouts in the win for the Braves.
At the plate for the Braves, Morgan Riley, Tyler Williams, Cameron Phillips and Matthew Thomas were all 1-for-2 with Jared Busby going 1-for-1.
Red Sox 8,
Flomaton Green 4
The Red Sox improved their record Thursday with an 8-4 win over Flomaton Green.
Matt Hutchins was 2-for-3 with an inside-the-park homerun and Aaron Bosarge was 1-for-2 with a double.
Steven Summerlin was 1-for-2 and Devin Parker was 1-for-1 for the Red Sox.
Eddie Taylor and Hutchins pitched in the win with Taylor allowing three runs on four hits, walked three and struck out nine.
Hutchins allowed one hit, one run, walked none and struck out two.
Flomaton White 9,
Brewton Braves 5
In interleague play Tuesday, the Brewton Braves were held to only one hit as they lost 9-5 to Flomaton White.
Russell Smith had the lone Braves hit, as he was 1-for-1.
Smith, Matthew Bradford, and Logan Bush all pitched for the Braves.
Smith allowed four runs on two hits, walked two and struck out five while Bradford allowed four runs on one hit, walked three and struck out one.
Bush allowed one run, one hit, walked three and struck out one in the loss.
Yankees 4, Cardinals 0
Yankee pitcher Dalton Shell allowed three hits and struck out 14 Cardinals to lead the Yankees to a 4-0 win.
Shell walked three in his innings of work and Sam Frazier relieved and struck out one in the win.
At the plate for the Yankees, Dakota Graves was 2-for-3 with a double and Shell was 1-for-3.
Lane Chavers and Derrick Barton took the loss on the mound for the Cardinals.
Chavers allowed four runs on three hits, walked on and struck out seven. Barton struck out one.
At the plate, Chavers was 1-for-2 and TyShawn Davis was 1-for-3. Barton was 1-for-1 in the loss.
The Cardinals and Yankees both had three hits each, but the Cardinals had three errors in the loss.
