Brewton folks: Please accept my sincere apology for my reference to hazardous material being “carted off to Brewton” in a WKRG interview. My reference was to the BFI Timberlands Landfill, with a Brewton address, which accepts “less-hazardous” hazardous material.
Speaking to a reporter, I should have been more careful with my words and remembered the name of the facility.  Again, I’m sorry, no offense was intended, and I’ll try to be more careful.
